I went out there yesterday and was surprised it was so dry. Nice and sandy! It was a lot of fun.

Some of our Crew went there last year, I hope to get some time on that trail myself.

This looks pretty tame, Bones. Want to drive this place or did you have someplace else in mind for November 21st? Maybe some others would like to join???

Either this or Richloam. A trip to Croom is good at least a few times a season. You can visit all those areas off limits to OHVs on the OTHER side of the fence.  >:D

Either this or Richloam.

Richloam looks cool. The places to ride thread says don't go in there during hunting season. When is that?

You gonna have a co-pilot Sunday?

Probably 1 co-pilot and 2 backseat drivers. Hunting season is probably right now or very soon. If you go slow near any parked vehicles I've never had any problem with hunters.

Easy to get around and pretty tame, a good place for stock and lightly modified rigs. I thought that the roads were well marked (map is in the first post). If you keep your eyes peeled there are number of courses off the beaten path. One is a neat little pit cut out on the right of FR-7, between FR-2 and FR-4 in the northern section. Up on FR-4 there a steep, fluffy incline…if you like that sort of thing (those are cool on dirt bikes).

We were in the main block of the wma, to the west of I75 and Nobelton Road. We spent about six hours total (two three hour stints) and have more to see in there. Also, there’s more on the east side, plus it looks like there’s another camping area over there. Couldn’t figure out how to get over there, but there are a couple separate entrances and I think you can get in there off Croom Road which runs East-West through the middle.

I think that you can make a day’s worth in there.

Headed back out to Croom today to finish seeing the place and re-doing a couple areas we previously missed. Nice day…kept looking like it was going to rain from time to time, but it didn’t.

Photoblast…

I believe this is Fishing Hole Road. It’s on the map in post #1 off Croom Road just past Nobleton heading east. The road circles at the end right at the river.

This is a huge friggin’ sink hole out there. The photo doesn’t reflect just how deep it is.

There…I think we got Croom covered.

Oh...we picked up the rest of the Bushwacker body armor pieces to go with our Bushwacker fender flares. The kit included the rear corners, strip under the tail gate, rocker panels and the front bumper cover. In case you didn't notice.  ;D

Hey! Those look pretty good!

Thanks. I'll post some better photos. I also have some nerfs waiting for me down at 4wd that I might be able to put on one evening this week.
